About Mariana Paulina Torres
Mariana Paulina Torres Gonzålez, known professionally as Mariana Torres, is a Mexican actress born on December 5, 1985 (some sources cite 1987) in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. She is the daughter of José Torres and has four brothers.
Torres began her acting career in 2001 with TV Azteca productions, appearing in telenovelas such as "Como en el Cine" (2001-2002) and "Por Ti" (2001). She gained wider recognition for her role as Paty in "Dos Chicos de Cuidado en la Ciudad" (2003-2004), alongside La Academia graduates RaĂșl Sandoval and VĂctor GarcĂa. Her first leading role came in 2004 with the telenovela "Belinda".
Throughout her career, Torres has appeared in numerous telenovelas including "Olvidarte jamås" (2006), "Acorralada" (2007), "Pecados ajenos" (2007-2008), "Vuélveme a querer" (2009), "Sacrificio de mujer" (2011), "Huérfanas" (2011-2012), "Asà en el barrio como en el cielo" (2015), and "Ringo" (2019). She also worked in Miami, Florida, where she participated in three telenovelas produced there: "Pecados Ajenos", "Acorralada" and "Sacrificio de Mujer".
In addition to telenovelas, Torres appeared in the Netflix Mexican film "El Testamento de la Abuela" (2020), where she played the character Julia. She also portrayed a young Lupita D'Alessio in the Televisa biographical series "Hoy voy a cambiar" (2017). Starting in 2020, she worked as a host on Disney Club.
