About Margot Werner
Margot Werner was born on December 8, 1937, in Salzburg and began ballet as a child. At the age of 17, she joined the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, where she became a prima ballerina.
From the 1970s onward, she successfully transitioned to chanson and popular entertainment. With songs like "So ein Mann" (1977), she became known to a wide audience. She also worked as an actress and appeared in numerous television shows.
Werner was married twice, first to the actor Peter Pasetti, and later to Jochen Litt. She had no children.
She died on July 1, 2012, at the age of 74 in Munich.
