Born as a twin in Hampstead, London to Irish parents. She move to Waterford, in the Republic of Ireland. Since her father was a clerk in the army and returning to Hampstead in 1946.
Margaret appeared in the glamour scene in the 1960's shooting for Harrison Marks and Russell Gay and appearing in various magazines such a Kamera, QT and Parade. Also doing some 8mm films. Margaret took up the name "Vicky Kennedy" well into her second 8mm, but would later use her birth name and appear in feature films such as the James Bond movie Goldfinger, as the painted gold body in the titles and advertisements as well a role as Dink. She is also most remembered in her "Carry On..." films roles, of which she did six in her acting career, and has made a number of appearances on TV. She gave up acting in the late 1980s.
