About Marcia Gabrielle
In 1982, Márcia Gabrielle participates in the Miss Rio de Janeiro contest promoted by the SBT television channel. This contest is won by Márcia Cristine de Carvalho Macedo. In the same year, she is elected Affectionate Girl. In 1984, she came in third place at Miss Brazil World.
In January 1985, Márcia was elected International Queen of Coffee, in Colombia, and a few months later she won the Miss Barão de Melgaço and Miss Mato Grosso contests, obtaining the right to be the state's representative in Miss Brazil. In the national contest on June 8, 1985, she defeats 26 other state and Federal District candidates, becoming the first representative of the state of Mato Grosso to win a national competition.
At that year's Miss Universe pageant, held in Miami, Florida, on July 15, 1985, she was among the ten semifinalists, but did not win. Later, Márcia competes for Miss South America and comes the 1st runner up, taking the title of «Miss Congeniality».
In the following years she became a judge on auditorium programs, presented a music video program and was part of the jury of choice of other Miss Brazil pageants.
Along the 1980's she was one of the main brazilian models in magazine covers, fashion editorials and on Carnival seasons she was often viewed in school of samba parades and ballroom balls.
In 2004, associated with her second husband and together with the UOL website, she launched a famous website for models in sensual photos called Colírio Brasil.
