About Mallory Jansen

Mallory Jansen is an Australian actress and model known for her versatile performances across television series, romantic comedies, and genre drama. Born and raised in Melbourne, she developed an interest in the performing arts early on and moved to New York in 2011 to formalize her craft, training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the T. Schreiber Studio & Theatre.

Upon returning to Australia, Jansen established her career with key roles in local television productions. She made her screen debut in the miniseries Howzat! Kerry Packer's War (2012) and appeared in shows like Mr & Mrs Murder and Twentysomething. Her portrayals began drawing international attention after she starred as real-life supermodel Helena Christensen in the acclaimed 2014 miniseries INXS: Never Tear Us Apart. 

Following her transition to Hollywood, Jansen quickly picked up recurring roles on US television, including the comedy series Baby Daddy and Young & Hungry. Her major breakthrough came when she was cast as the ruthless Queen Madalena in ABC’s musical comedy series Galavant (2015–2016). She further gained global fan recognition for her multi-faceted work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2016–2017), where she delivered a critically praised performance playing three distinct roles: the android AIDA, Agnes Kitsworth, and Madame Hydra. 

In recent years, Jansen has expanded her portfolio across mainstream television and film project leads. She starred as Monica Sullivan in the Fox musical dramedy series The Big Leap (2021) and has headlined numerous feature productions, including On the 12th Date of Christmas, Her Pen Pal, Francesca Quinn, PI, and Paging Mr. Darcy. In addition to her camera work, she has lent her voice to animated projects and expanded into executive producing.
