Malaika Terry is a Canadian singer, entrepreneur, and fashion model. Terry was raised in Toronto, Canada but moved to Los Angeles, California after high school to further her modeling and music dreams. Terry's mother is Jamaican and her father is of Irish decent. She comes from a large family of 15 siblings.

Terry began gaining fame as a model and influencer on Instagram in 2013. FREA Models and Anita Norris Models has represented her in the past. Currently, she is represented by IMM Models and Next Models-Canada. Not just that, she also has endorsements from various brands including FashionNova. She has also represented House Of CB, Meraki Growth, PrettyLittleThing, Desio Color Contact Lenses, boohooMAN, Mussy Collection, AuraLite, SHEFIT, Bléu Ribbon Hair Salon, For Love & Lemons, Laura’s Boutique, Sisters & Seekers, FENTY BEAUTY by Rihanna, and VibeSzn. She also owns her own brand called Her Imports which specializes in hair exentions. She is now working on an electric car venture called plugz.

In 2018, she began releasing singles on FAMM Records. In 2018, she was rumored to be dating and involved with Canadian hip-hop star Drake.

Terry is of African and French descent. Her sister is model and artist Erikah Marie.
