About Maggie Mae Fish
She's an actor, writer, and comedian who crafts video essays and short films which apply a queer and feminist lens to your film school favs. She's raked in over 7 million views and recently launched her new show UNRATED for Nebula. Before making that splash, she was a staff writer at CRACKED and co-host of the popular “Obsessive Pop Culture Discussion.” She was a writer for MATTY PAZ IS A N00B (Peacock Kids, Amazon,) the ADAM RIPPON TALK SHOW (Viacom, SpringHill Entertainment) and she's developed projects for DreamworksTV, Amazon, JASH, ScreenJunkies, College Humor, and Channel Frederator. Her pilot “Pacific Park” was a SUNDANCE LAB FINALIST and her other projects have been featured on the RED LIST and the BLOOD LIST.
You’ve seen her face on more than a few NATIONAL COMMERCIALS and in several award-winning shorts and features. Her work has been featured in Polygon, Forbes, Vulture, Film School Rejects, and every single podcast hosted by a comedian, ever. Your favorite director is in her DM’s right now, asking her about the feminist politics of “Robocop.”
She grew up in a town of fewer than 1,000 people in Michigan on a steady diet of queer Irish Catholic guilt. and let’s just say films helped her connect with the world beyond the cornfields. It's been a steamy love affair ever since. She spent her college years lying about her age so she could drink after performing at iO Chicago while getting her Bachelor’s at Northwestern University in Theatre, Film Studies, and Creative Writing. Her mom reads her Twitter and you can too.
