About Madeleine Collinson
Madeleine Collinson (born July 22, 1952 in Malta) is a model and actress. She was chosen as Playboy magazine's co-Playmate of the Month in October 1970. She was one of the first identical twin Playmate sisters. Twin sister of Mary Collinson.
She first arrived in Britain in April 1969, and prior to their appearance in Playboy one of the first people to use them was the famed glamour photographer/film maker Harrison Marks who cast them as saucy maids in his short film Halfway Inn. The film, made for the 8mm market, was shot sometime between their British Arrival, and July 1970, when a still from the film was used in a Marks' Advert that ran in that months issue of Continental Film Review magazine.
Madeleine is quoted in The Playmate Book as saying that Mary has two daughters and now lives in Milan with an "Italian gentleman," who she has been with for more than 20 years.
Madeleine married a British Royal Air Force officer and raised three children. She later moved back to Malta and was involved in cultural and educational activities there.

Mary and Madeleine Collinson (born July 22, 1952 in Malta) are models and actresses. They moved to England in 1969 and quickly entered glamour filming. A late 1960s and early 1970s film phenomenon of mirror-image female fantasy bait, the ideal babes were born minutes apart and grew to enthrall legions of men around the globe with their October 1970 Playboy centerfold! They were chosen as Playboy magazine's Playmate(s) of the Month in October 1970, together. They were the first identical twin Playmate sisters. Not ones to shy away from onscreen skin, the two touted their shapely chests while cavorting in a string of three skin flicks from the Age of Aquarius. How can you tell Madeleine and sister Mary apart? For starters, Maddie is the one wearing a black dress in Some Like It Sexy (1969). But look fast since her garment is soon removed to reveal her rack, rump and muff. While not technically hardcore pornstars their scene in Some Like it Sexy surely crosses into the realm of hardcore. The titillating twins pop up again, flashing their flesh in the R-rated film I Am a Groupie (1970). Soon after, the sexy sisters sizzle on the screen in the supernatural chiller diller Twins of Evil (1971). This time around, Madeleine is a vampy vampire. In total they appeared in 6 films from 1969- 1971, during the start of the Golden Age of Porn. Madeleine married a British Royal Air Force officer and had three children, later moved back to Malta, where she was involved in cultural and educational activities and died on August 14, 2014, in Malta, at age 62. Mary had two daughters and settled in Milan, Italy, remained involved in animal charities, including raising funds by signing and selling photos from Twins of Evil at conventions, and died on November 23, 2021, in Milan, at age 69.

This is the 3rd Playmate to die on August 14th. Dorothy Stratten died Aug 14th 1980, and another playmate died Aug 14th 2001. Gwen Wong is the 4th one to die on this date, in 2024.
