About Maddalena Crippa
Her artistic training took place at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, thanks to a long professional relationship with the director Giorgio Strehler. Crippa later established an artistic and personal bond with the theater and opera director Peter Stein.
A careful interpreter of tragic and classical female roles, she conducted a long personal study on vocal emission to perfect diction and singing as expressive means. In 1994 she won a Silver Mask and in 2001 she received the Hystrio Award for Interpretation.
In 1988 she posed completely nude for the erotic magazine Excelsior.
