About Luana Alonso
Alonso is known in part for participating in the Olympics as a swimmer on behalf of Paraguay. During the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France, she announced on August 5th that she would be retiring from the sport after being accused of "creating an inappropriate atmosphere at the heart of Team Paraguay." Some articles suggest that her constant social media updates of her sightseeing throughout Paris while at the Olympics is what caused the decision to cut her from the team.
