About Lisa Zimmermann
Lisa is an Innsbruck, Austria-based freestyle skier specializing in slopestyle and big air. She started in figure skating as a child, switched to freestyle skiing around age 14, and rose quickly. She is the first woman to land a double cork 1260. She won gold medals in slopestyle at the 2015 World Championships and in big air at the 2017 Winter X Games.
After injuries, including a 2017 ACL/MCL tear and ongoing post-concussion symptoms from a 2012 crash, she stepped back from regular World Cup competition around 2020 to focus on film projects and independent events. She won the 2023 Dew Tour streetstyle event in Copper Mountain and has continued selective competing and filming. She has been associated with clubs such as TV FΓΌrth 1860 and others.
In 2018 she appeared, including on the cover, in the March 2018 edition of Germanl Payboy, posing nude/semi-nude in a ski-themed shoot while recovering from her knee injury that kept her out of the Pyeongchang Olympics. She has also shared more revealing photos on Instagram over the years.
