About Linnea Berthelsen

Linnea Berthelsen is a Danish actress who has gained international recognition for her performance as Kali Prasad (also known as “Eight” or 008) in the Netflix science-fiction series Stranger Things.
She was born in India, but was adopted and raised in Kalundborg, Denmark. In 2014 she moved to England to study acting at East 15 Acting School in Essex.
Berthelsen began acting in short films starting in 2014, including Mirrors, Natskygge, Dyspno and Cape Fear. She appeared in the Danish film Hybrid in 2015. Her breakthrough role came when she was cast as Kali/Eight in Stranger Things Season 2 (2017), a role she reprised in Season 5 (2025).
