Lindsey Jacobellis born on August 19, 1985, is a 37-year-old American snowboarder from Roxbury, Connecticut. She is the most decorated snowboarder of all time Cross Athlete. She dominated the sport for nearly 20 years as a five-time World Champion and ten-time X Games Champion.
In her Olympic debut at the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics, Lidensy Jacobelis won a silver medal in cross-on snowboarding, but she failed to win a medal in three Olympic Games until she won a gold medal at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Jacobelis also won a gold medal (along with her teammate Nick Baumgartner) in cross-team mixed snowboarding at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
Lindsey Jacobellis has competed in Snowboard Cross, Snowboard Slopestyle, and Snowboard Halfpipe. She won a bronze medal in slopestyle at the Winter X Games in 2003 and appeared on the MTV charity edition of The Challenge, titled The Challenge: Champion vs Pro. She competed to raise money for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. She finished second alongside her teammate at the final challenge, Kamelion Wimbley. In addition to her athleticism, she is known for her naturally curly hair.
