Laurie is a Montreal, QC-based pastry chief, bikini competitor, and fitness model. She is a mother of three who discovered fitness later in life. She frequently posts about her family, dogs, and daily life on social media. She has appeared on podcasts and YouTube interviews discussing her multifaceted life as a bodybuilder, pastry chef, and mom.

She has worked as a pastry chef for over 20–25 years and owns Lauriginale Cake Design (also referred to as Lauriginale in the Kitchen). She trained in cooking and French pastry at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa. She specializes in luxury custom cakes and desserts, describing herself as the "Cake Boss Lady." Her business is based in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area.\

In late 2021/early 2022, Laurie set a New Year's resolution to focus more on herself and her well-being. This led her to start bodybuilding and figure competitions. What began as a personal goal quickly turned into notable success:She has competed in natural (drug-tested) figure divisions under organizations like the CPA (Canadian Physique Alliance).
Key wins include multiple gold medals and 1st-place finishes in her category/age group, such as at the 2022 CPA Classique Naturelle Mike Clement, 2022 CPA Natural Canada Pro Qualifier (where she placed 1st in figure), and additional top placements in 2023.
In 2023, she earned another strong showing (2nd in her class) at the CPA Natural Canada Pro Qualifier. By 2024, she continued competing, including at the CPA Natural Canada Pro Qualifier.
