Lauren Scott is a woman who was left with one arm after a horrific moped accident has become a star on Tinder and Twitter after she created a profile making fun of her own disability.
Lauren Scott, 21, from San Diego, California, lost her right arm after being thrown from a moped a year ago, and so, has taken to calling herself an “arms dealer” on social media. She adds that she is “hands down the best catch on Tinder’,” rating her “arms 1/2,” and her “personality 20/10.” Lauren was conscious throughout the accident, and survived at the hands of a police officer who had recently completed tourniquet training.
Saying she was drunk when she created the profile, Lauren has gotten tons of marriage proposals, and thousands of date requests. She also has a popular Instagram and Twitter page called DuckFanAccount, and has used them to show her sense of humor. Tinder even reached out to her, donating $15,000 to her GoFundMe page to raise money for a prosthetic arm.
