About Lauren Chen
Lauren Yu Sum Tam, known professionally as Lauren Chen, and formerly known as Roaming Millennial, is a Canadian-born and American political commentator and former YouTuber.
From 2019 to 2020, Chen produced a commentary show for BlazeTV titled 'Pseudo-Intellectual". As of 2021, she produces commentary videos independently on her channel and hosts the podcast "No Malarkey" with Marie Oaks.
Chen went to college in California and Utah, before returning to Canada for some time. Now, she resides in Nashville, Tennessee, which she alongside her husband Liam Donovan made a permanent move in part to escape from Justin Trudeau's government.
After a year-long hiatus, Chen returned to social media on September 7, 2025, following a joint DOJ and Canadian investigation into Chen's now-defunct media company, Tenet Media, on charges of collusion with Russia. All charges were dropped in April 2025 due to lack of evidence, resulting in a countersuit by Chen against the US DOJ.
Chen is of Hongkongese descent. As of September 2025, she has amassed 577 thousand followers on X.
