Laura is a Toronto-based comedian and sketch artist, known for her award-winning specials and satirical online videos. Her mother was a Medical Officer for the World Health Organization. She was born in Italy to an Italian father and German mother, but relocated to Douala, Cameroon for her mother's job. She continued to move around to Azerbaijan, China and Vietnam, she took herself to Canada to get her university degree.
She graduated the University of Victoria, BC, Canada with a BFA in Theatre. In January of 2017 she was in Chicago watching a Second City show when she realized she wanted to be a sketch artist. In 2019 she came out with her first special, Diane, which won her the Best New Show of the year award at the Bad Dog Theatre, had her traveling to festivals around the country and became the first solo-show ever to win the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival's Best of the Fest award.
In 2021 she began posting to social media to continue making content during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has created iconic original characters and series such as German Mom, Italian Dad and Girl who just got back from....
