About Laetitia Bouffard-Roupe

Laetitia is a Spain-based multidisciplinary artist, professional fine art model, former classical ballet dancer, aerial acrobat, yoga teacher, and fitness instructor. She is known for her work in artistic nude and movement-based photography, blending exceptional body control, flexibility, and expressive presence.

She started classical ballet at age 3. At 9, she successfully auditioned for the highly selective École de Danse of the Paris Opera Ballet (one of only 18 chosen from thousands of candidates). Her training there was rigorous, covering ballet, folk dance, mime, singing, anatomy, music theory, and dance history alongside academics. She performed professionally on the Paris Opera stage from a young age (as early as 10) and later earned a dancer-choreographer diploma from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Lyon. She danced with companies like Europa Dance Ballet in Paris and toured internationally with various national ballet companies in Europe.
Ballet instilled deep discipline, posture, endurance, and body awareness, but she eventually stepped away from the more rigid professional dance world to seek greater creative freedom.Transition to Acrobatics and CircusShe trained in acrobatic adagio and aerial acrobatics (silks, hoops, straps, nets). With her partner, she won bronze medals at international circus festivals in Paris and Wuqiao, China, and performed in Cirque du Soleil's special events division. Their acts took them across 84 countries, including major stages, TV shows, the Calgary Stampede in Canada, and luxury cruise lines. This phase allowed her to choreograph, design costumes, and direct her own artistic vision.

In 2018, she entered fine art modeling after a collaboration with photographer André Brito on an artistic nude project involving aerial hoop and pointe shoes. This opened a new chapter where she could explore movement, stillness, form, and emotional expression through the camera (and later sculpture). She has worked worldwide with numerous photographers and sculptors, emphasizing projects rooted in respect, intention, and artistic integrity. Her images have appeared in international magazines (including Malvie, VuNuMag, and the Spanish edition of Playboy), with multiple covers. Awards include recognition from the WPE Awards, Trierenberg Super Circuit, and International Color/Monochrome Awards. In 2020, she modeled for Valentino Haute Couture in Rome and collaborated with photographer Nick Knight (work published in Vogue). Sculptor Basil Watson has created limited-edition bronze sculptures based on her poses.

She specializes in fine art nude, ballet-inspired, and dynamic movement photography. She is also a creative director and founded the Art Model Academy to mentor aspiring models on professionalism and integrity.Other Pursuits: Yoga, Fitness, and BooksYoga has been part of her life since her ballet days (initially as warm-up via Surya Namaskar). She trained in Rishikesh, India, and is a registered yoga teacher (RYT500 with Yoga Alliance), specializing in Hatha, Ashtanga, and aerial yoga. She is also a certified personal fitness trainer (EuropeActive) with over 15 years of strength and conditioning experience. She has self-published several fine art photo books, including the large 420-page black-and-white collection Timeless (featuring 370 photos from 86 international photographers). Other titles include FEEL, LEGACY, FEEL II, and UNSEEN.

Laetitia often speaks about movement as a language of the soul—shifting from "duty" (perfectionist ballet training) to authentic "need." She emphasizes letting go of perfection, embracing vulnerability in stillness (as in photography), and balancing strength with surrender (e.g., in backbends). She views the body as a tool for self-expression and resilience, while advocating self-love and consistency over intensity in training and life.
