Koyuki Kato, professionally known simply as Koyuki, is a Japanese actress and fashion model born on December 18, 1976, in Zama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She began her career in the mid-1990s after gaining attention as an exclusive model for the popular Japanese fashion magazine Non-no. Her elegant appearance and calm screen presence quickly helped her transition into television dramas, commercials, and feature films.

Koyuki rose to national fame through Japanese television dramas such as Kimi wa Petto and later gained international recognition for her role as Taka in the 2003 historical epic The Last Samurai alongside Tom Cruise. She also appeared in acclaimed Japanese films including Pulse and Blood: The Last Vampire.

Known for her refined image and sophisticated style, Koyuki became a prominent figure in Japanese entertainment throughout the 2000s, balancing work in film, television, and advertising campaigns.
