About Kay Hanley
Kay Hanley is an American singer-songwriter. She is best known as the singer and guitarist for the indie rock band Letters To Cleo, whose song "Here and Now" is considered a classic of 90s-era alternative rock. Letters To Cleo's cover of "Dangerous Type" by the Cars appeared in the movie The Craft, and Hanley appeared in 10 Things I Hate About You performing a cover of Nick Lowe's Cruel To Be Kind. Hanley provided the singing voice for Rachael Leigh Cooke in the 2001 film Josie and the Pussycats, which is now a popular cult film. She appeared in a 2014 episode of Parks and Recreation performing "Here and Now."
