Karissa Shannon is an American glamour model, nude model, actress, and porn star. She and her twin sister Kristina Shannon were Playboy Playmates in 2009.
In 2008, Karissa and Kristina moved into the Playboy Mansion as two of Hugh Hefner’s new girlfriends. They began appearing on the reality series The Girls Next Door along with Crystal Harris.
Karissa appeared as Miss July 2009 along with Kristina as Miss August in a combined “summer issue” of Playboy magazine. Unlike previous centerfold twins, they earned consecutive months as Playmates, but shared a single centerfold. When they appeared in Playboy they still had their natural B-cup breasts, but since have had several augmentations.
By January 2010, the twins moved out of the mansion after breaking up with Hefner and moved to the Playmate House. They were originally planned to head a spinoff of The Girls Next Door titled The Girls Next Door: The Bunny House, but they were asked to move out after Hefner learned they had boyfriends.
In 2010, Karissa confirmed she was involved in sex tapes with Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag. Later that year a sex tape of her and then-boyfriend Sam Jones III was released by Vivid Entertainment under the title Karissa Shannon Superstar.
She most appears on projects with Kristina. Their first acting job was in a small part of Somewhere. In 2012 they appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK and finished fifth.
The twins had several extensive plastic surgeries after appearing in Playboy, resulting in a botched augmentation and a botched nose job that left them no longer looking alike. In 2015 they appeared on Botched to get corrective surgeries. They now say they have 750cc silicone implants.
In December 2018, Kristina and Karissa announced they signed with Brazzers to make hardcore porn and that they would film scenes together. They emphasized that such scenes would be “tastefully done” to follow rules and regulations that pertain to siblings appearing together.
She is the twin sister of Kristina Shannon.

She seems to have put on a lot of weight like her sister, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. My favourite picture is number 5. I'm not a fan of the pierced boob, it turns me off. I'm disappointed that they've gone hardcore as there was no need to, but it was their decision, and I'm not going to criticise them for it.
