Auditioned for the part of Jennifer in Valley of the Dolls in late 1967 but lost out to Sharon Tate.
Had a successful career as a model before becoming an actress with Warner Brothers and Universal in the mid-60s. Took part in numerous beauty pageants and advertising drives, holding such titles as "Fiesta Dream Girl", "Miss Greater Los Angeles Press Club", "Motion Picture Sweater Girl of 1967" and "Azalea Queen".

Runner-up as Miss California in 1962.
