Kara is beautiful and has a winning smile. However,I just could never find my way to really liking her a lot. In my opinion she was the eighth best Playmate of that year. Still though, like I said: she is undeniably beautiful.

Aside from three women who I consider abysmal choices for Playmates (guess who!) 2005 had a bunch of almost equally great women and so is a hard year for me pick just one favorite. If I only consider the Centerfold set and Profile vid, I'm going with Amber Campisi, who was just fabulous in every moment of those parts. However, Jillian, Tamara, Raquel, and Courtney all had really fantastic Playmate Xtras. It's such a tough call, but even though her profile video is actually pretty boring, Courtney's Xtras are seriously some of my all time favorite Playboy viewing. So my favorite Playmate of 2005 is Courtney Rachel Culkin. I could be swayed to Jillian though; there are no weak links in her Playboy portfolio. I do wish Amber had done some Xtras.... Sorry for the long winded answer, but I really enjoyed checking out all the Playmates from that year; it was fun. Who was your favorite?

I shouldn't have said abysmal - I know these women all have many admirers. However, in my opinion Destiny Davis, Qiana Chase and Amanda Paige are some seriously weak Playmates. Destiny's Centerfold stuff is fine I guess, but her Xtras are terrible. No matter how much I've tried to like her (and I have), I find Qiana to be very unattractive, plain and simple. I've never understood why Playboy had so much trouble finding gorgeous black women to make Playmates; I feel like there should have been a lot more, but that's another subject. Amanda looks the part of a Playmate sometimes, but not nearly enough. With her it kind of feels like they needed to fill a spot and she just happened to be available. My apologies to anyone who loves those women as Playmates, I just really don't.
