About Kanon Fukuda

Kanon Fukuda (福田花音) is a Japanese lyricist and idol best known as a former original member of the Hello! Project group ANGERME, which was formerly known as S/mileage. She joined Hello! Project in 2004 as a member of Hello Pro Egg and later participated in groups such as Shugo Chara Egg!, Shin Minimoni, and HI-FIN.

In 2015, she graduated from both ANGERME and Hello! Project to pursue a career as a lyricist. After leaving UP-FRONT PROMOTION in 2020, she joined ZOCX (then known as ZOC) under the stage name Maro Kannagi (巫まろ), and later became a member of its sub-unit zocx. She departed from the group on March 31, 2024, and now uses the katakana spelling of the same stage name, カンナギマロ.

Raised as an only child, Fukuda owns a pet rabbit named Latte and has a particular fondness for rabbits, which are also her favorite animals. She enjoys collecting strawberry-themed goods, reading, attending theater performances, and shopping. Among her favorite things are Hello! Project, stage costumes, computers, and mobile phones.

Her favorite food is strawberries, while she dislikes fresh cream and soda. Her favorite colors are purple, red, and pink. She also dislikes long-distance running and walking on slopes.

Her special skills include classical ballet, piano, baton twirling, working with computers, and playing pranks. Her favorite English word is “Really?”.
