Jessica Marie Uberuaga (born November 3, 1992, in Boise, Idaho) is an American actress, producer, and model. Of Basque ancestry, she grew up with strong ties to her family’s origins in the Basque Country of Spain and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Before establishing herself in film and television, Uberuaga worked professionally as a model and dancer. Her modeling career included commercial campaigns and assignments in locations such as Hawaii and Spain, while her official portfolio documents work for clients including Acura. She also trained and worked at a professional level in ballroom and salsa dance, eventually operating a dance school that expanded into live-event production.
Alongside her work in entertainment, Uberuaga pursued higher education. She graduated with honors after studying Economics and Spanish at Boise State University and the University of Alicante in Spain. She later relocated to Los Angeles to develop her acting, modeling, and production career.
Uberuaga has appeared in a range of film and television productions. Her notable credits include Vigilante Diaries (2016), in which she played Red; the Syfy television film Mind Blown (2016) as Jennifer Gaines; Running Wild (2017) as Azar; and The Fanatic (2019), directed by Fred Durst and starring John Travolta and Devon Sawa, in which she portrayed Brenda.
She subsequently appeared as Nancy in the action film Take Back (2021) alongside Mickey Rourke and as Jess in the supernatural thriller Incarnation (2022) opposite Taye Diggs and Michael Madsen. She also served as an executive producer on Incarnation, expanding her career beyond acting into film production.
Her television work includes a recurring role as Gretchen Voss in Salvage Marines, as well as appearances in Love in the Time of Quarantine. IMDb records more than two dozen acting credits in addition to several producing credits, reflecting a career that spans independent cinema, television, action films, thrillers, and commercial entertainment.
Behind the camera, Uberuaga became involved with production company Ton of Hats, where she has worked in film financing and production. The company identifies her as its Vice President of Finance, responsible for developing relationships with film financiers and supporting equity investment for independent film and television projects. In 2020, she helped establish a film fund that contributed to the production of Incarnation.
