Jéssica Alexis Elizabeth Ross de Athayde, only known as Jéssica Athayde, is a Portuguese actress and former-model who was born on December 21st, 1985 in Lisbon, Portugal.
In the summer of 2005, Jéssica was one of many people who made an inscription on a casting for the third season of "Morangos com Açúcar". Then, she participated on the same casting for the same youth TV series to start later, in September of that year and also to be broadcast by TVI.
In September 2005, she made her debut as an actress in the opening episode of the third season of the same portuguese TV series, to the final episode of the third season of "Morangos com Açúcar", previously broadcast by the portuguese fourth TV channel, TVI, playing the character "Maria Micaela Silva" ("Mimi").
After the youth TV series "Morangos com Açúcar", Jéssica later became part of different portuguese telenovela' main casts of TVI, a TV channel which she signed and also had an exclusive contract and where she had constantly and continuously worked for more than a decade. Jéssica's curriculum, as an actress, includes different audience-leading projects such as "Ilha dos Amores" (2007), "A Outra" (2008), "Flor do Mar" (2008-2009), "Mar de Paixão" (2010-2011), "Doce Tentação" (2011-2012), "Destinos Cruzados" (2013), "Mulheres" (2014-2015), "Santa Bárbara" (2015-2016) and "A Herdeira" (2017-2018).

She dated for many years with actor and TV host from the third portuguese TV channel (SIC), João Manzarra.
In March 2017, she married photographer Gonçalo Claro in Bali, Indonesia, then they broke up their relationship eight months later.
In 2018, Jéssica began an intimate relationship with actor Diogo Amaral. On June 8th, 2019, for the first time in her life, in Lisbon, Jéssica became mother by giving birth to a little boy named Oliver Ross de Athayde do Amaral. In September 2019, Jéssica and Diogo broke up their relationship.
