Jen Ledger (full name Jennifer Carole Ledger) is an English-American powerhouse musician, best known as the drummer and co-vocalist for the Grammy-nominated Christian rock band Skillet. Hailing from Coventry, England, she started playing drums at age 13, became a finalist in the UK Drummer of the Year competition in 2006, and moved to the US at 16 on a scholarship to study at Living Light School of Worship in Wisconsin.
At just 18, she auditioned and landed the gig as Skillet's drummer after Lori Peters retired—joining in 2008 and debuting on tours and albums like Comatose Comes Alive. Since then, she's been a core part of the band, delivering explosive drum performances (think high-energy tracks like "Awake and Alive," "The Resistance," and more) while adding powerful co-vocals that bring extra fire to their sound. She's contributed to massive hits across albums like Awake (2009), Rise (2013), Unleashed (2016), and beyond, helping Skillet become one of the biggest acts in Christian rock with arena tours, millions of streams, and a devoted global fanbase.
In addition to Skillet, Jen launched her solo project LEDGER in 2018–2019 under Atlantic Records/Hear It Loud, releasing an EP and singles like "Not Dead Yet" that hit the Christian rock and contemporary charts. Her style blends fierce rock energy, faith-driven lyrics, and her signature "LOVE GOD • LOVE PEOPLE • LOVE MUSIC" ethos.
