Jemina Pearl Abegg is an American singer and songwriter. She is the frontperson for the raucous punk band Be Your Own Pet as well as a solo artist.

Pearl was born in Nashville, TN in 1987. She is the daughter of Jimmy Abegg, who was a cutting-edge Christian alternative musician in the 1980s. She formed Be Your Own Pet when she was 16 years old. After releasing early singles on a local Nashville label, Be Your Own Pet released two critically well-received albums on Ecstatic Peace, the record label operated by Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore. BYOP disbanded in 2008, after which Pearl released her debut solo album, Break It Up, which reatured guest appearances from Moore, Iggy Pop, and Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio. Pearl and Moore also appeared on Gossip Girl, performing a cover of "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker" by the Ramones. She was subsequently a member of the band Ultra S/C.

Be Your Own Pet reunited in 2021 at the personal request of Jack White and released their third album on White's Third Man Records.
