Family and education
Jeanne Herry is the daughter of actress Miou-Miou and singer Julien Clerc[1]. She was trained in London, at the International Theatre School of Nora and Stéphan Boublil, then entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique in Paris.
Personal life
She has a son, Antoine, born on April 3, 2007, and a daughter, Margaux, born in 2010[2].
Career
Jeanne Herry began her career with a role in Louis Malle's Milou en Mai. Later, she played in Gabrielle by Patrice Chéreau[3] and for television (episode of the series Maigret, La Maison de Félicie, etc.).
In the theatre, she played in Le Loup-garou by Roger Vitrac, directed by Nora Boublil at the Théùtre de Proposition in Paris, Le Voyage de Benjamin and, in 2005 and 2006, in Le BelvédÚre, directed by Jacques Vincey.
She is also the author of a novel, 80 étés, published in 2005 by Gallimard.
She directed her first feature film in 2013: Elle l'adore[3] Released on September 24, 2014.
His second feature film, In Safe Hands, was released on December 5, 2018 and was very well received[4]. The film was nominated in seven categories at the 2019 CĂ©sar Awards, including the five major CĂ©sar Awards, but did not receive any awards[5].
Her third feature film, I Will Always See Your Faces, will be released on March 29, 2023. The film was once again very well received by the public.
