About Jasmina Marazita
Jasmina Marazita is an award-winning Ecuadorian journalist, news anchor, and digital content creator based in Florida. She is widely recognized for her work with the Florida-based station Telemundo 51 (WSCV-TV), where she has served as a traffic anchor, weather presenter, and the co-host of the entertainment show Acceso Total. She was born in Manabí, Ecuador, and grew up in the coastal village of Bahía de Caráquez. She immigrated to Florida at the age of 17. he resides in the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area.
Before finding mainstream success, she graduated with a degree in journalism and took her first media job at the Puerto Rico-based network Mega TV. She later expanded her reach by hosting the SBS radio show 106.3 Hola Que Tal. Over her career, she has secured prestigious accolades including an Emmy Award and an Associated Press (AP) Award for her journalism. Following a devastating earthquake that destroyed her childhood home in 2016, she also produced a prominent documentary about the disaster in collaboration with Telemundo 51.
