Jackie García (stage name of Jacqueline García Delgado) is a Cuban actress and television host born on February 19, 1975, in Havana, Cuba. She is best known for her work in Mexican telenovelas during the 2000s and early 2010s.
García moved from Cuba to the United States as a child before relocating to Mexico, where she pursued her dream of working in telenovelas. She trained as an actress at Televisa's Centro de Educación Artística (CEA) and began appearing in productions before completing her studies.
She made her television debut in 1999 with the telenovela "Locura de Amor", followed by youth-oriented productions such as "El juego de la vida" (2001). Her most notable roles include playing Marcela Garza Durán in "Código postal" (2006-2007), appearing in 200 episodes, and Jennifer in "Qué pobres tan ricos" (2013-2014), where she appeared in 149 episodes. Other telenovelas she participated in include "Las tontas no van al cielo" (2008), "Mi pecado" (2009), "Cuando me enamoro", "Una familia con suerte" and "Mentir para vivir".
In addition to acting, García worked as a television host on programs such as "Vida TV" (2005) alongside Galilea Montijo and Héctor Sandarti, and "La hora de la papa" (2007) with Arath de la Torre. In 2006, she won the reality competition "Bailando por la boda de mis sueños" and appeared in the music video "Lo Dudo" with Cristian Castro.
In 2013, García stepped away from acting to focus on motherhood and business ventures. She opened her own business in Mexico while raising her daughter. She later divorced her daughter's father and moved to the United States, where she currently resides in Miami. There, she returned to university studies and works as a secretary while considering a return to acting.
García is married and has three daughters. She maintains a social media presence with approximately 40,000 followers on Instagram (@jackiegarciamiami), where she shares personal and professional content. Despite being away from television for over a decade, she has expressed interest in returning to acting when the opportunity arises.
