About Iris Peynado
The daughter of a lawyer, she attended the Colegio Santa Teresita in Santo Domingo, having studied theater and acting with Rómulo Rivas at the Teatro Estudiantil, and dance with Clara Elena Ramírez. At 18, Iris moved to England to study English and theatre. During her time in London, she meets the young Italian Salvatore Petrone who she later marries.
