Irene Castillo is a Salvadoran television presenter, radio host, influencer and entrepreneur who has become one of the most recognizable figures in Salvadoran television and media.
Born on January 10, 1992, in El Salvador, Castillo grew up in the Planes de Renderos neighborhood, where she was raised by her grandmother, who had a profound influence on her life and career. She began her television career in 2011 at a young age, hosting the youth program "Buena Onda" on Canal 33. She later expanded her portfolio to include sports programming with "Solo Fútbol" and entertainment shows.
Currently, Castillo is the main presenter of the morning show "Arriba Mi Gente" on Canal 21 (Grupo Megavisión), where she has been a fixture for over a decade. She has also worked as a radio host on Exa FM and ventured into news presenting with Telenoticias 21 midday edition, where she covered entertainment segments. In 2025, she was nominated in the PYME (Small and Medium Enterprise) category at the Mujeres Emblemáticas El Salvador 2025 awards for her commitment to Salvadoran fashion and her impact on the industry at an international level.
