Following her marriage, her husband's business ventures crumbled, burying them under more than 100 million yen in debt and demanding a brutal 1.5 million yen in monthly payments. It was this overwhelming financial pressure that forced her back onto the stage and into the adult film world. Her painful marriage finally collapsed when her husband was arrested on drug offenses, bringing their union to an end.
Undeterred by adversity, Hitomi Kobayashi carved out a new path in Tokyo’s high-end nightlife scene. After learning the ropes, she established her exclusive club, "Hitomi K," in Ginza in August 2009.
