About Helena Mattsson
Helena Mattsson is a Swedish actress, currently living and working in Hollywood. Mattsson was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, had roles early on in Wild Side Story and other cabarets there, and moved at a young age to London, England, to attend theatre school. When she was 19 years old she moved to Hollywood in the USA where she has since stayed.
In 2007 she starred in Species: The Awakening, and has been cast in the film You and I Mattsson also appeared in the music video of Primal Scream's Country Girl in 2006. She became famous for her roles in American television series such as "Desperate Housewives", "Nikita", and "666 Park Avenue". She appeared in the Touchstone Pictures film Surrogates. Mattsson recently appeared in four episodes of the ABC series Desperate Housewives as "Irina". Helena is trained in Martial Arts and is also a trained dancer.
Helena Mattsson plays Ashley McGrady, a recurring character on season 4 and 5 of The Rookie. She is the ex-girlfriend of Sergeant Tim Bradford.

The perfect embodiment of the archetypal beautiful Swedish blonde. I've only seen her in her one appearance in the TV series "Legend of the Seeker" and the comedy action movie "Guns, Girls and Gambling" in which she is JUST SO INCREDIBLY HOT in that balck leather jumpsuit (top left user upload pic)! Really must get around to looking out for some of her other work if that is anything to go by.
