About Heather North
Heather North was primarily a television actress. She’s best known for her work as a voice actress. Her most famous role was as Daphne Blake in the classic animated series, “Scooby Doo, Where Are You!”, starting in the second season (1970). She took over the role from the original actress, Stefanianna Christopherson. She provided the voice for Daphne in all of the other Scooby Doo-related series and animated films up until her retirement in 2003.
Heather also appeared in several live-action films. Her first film role was in the film “Git!” (1965). She also appeared in the Disney film “The Barefoot Executive”, with Kurt Russell.
She also had a stint on the soap opera “Days of Our Lives”, from 1967 to 1972. She also appeared in episodes of “My Three Sons”, “The Monkees”, “Gidget”, “The Fugitive”, “Green Acres” and “Adam-12”.
