"Gloomydia’s" real name is unknown. However, it is known that she lives in the United States and was presumably born and raised there. She has moved at least once but claims she tends to just sit around at home. In general, Dia reveals very little about her real life; instead, she has a creative streak and strategically sprinkles information online—sometimes true, sometimes false. For instance, she claimed in an Instagram Reel that her mother was from France and her father from the USA. In another Reel from January 2026, she suddenly stated that her mother was from Italy and her father from South Korea. She also describes her own personality in contradictory terms: on one hand, she calls herself a cautious, shy person; on the other, she labels herself a sociopath. Online, however, she presents a very spirited and playful persona. This is particularly evident across her 13 Instagram accounts, though she struggles significantly with account deactivations and bans. Her online career began on August 20, 2023, on OnlyFans, where she was active at the time under the name "emommydom." She plays her OnlyFans persona quite well and loves messaging her customers there, whereas she ignores and blocks messages everywhere else. Initially, she claimed to be a typical "e-girl goth Latina." Between April and May 2025, she initiated a major image overhaul: she changed several of her social media usernames, a shift that also brought visual changes such as removing piercings, adopting more subtle eye makeup, and wearing her hair straighter. Since 2026, Dia has been moving almost entirely away from the goth aesthetic, presenting it—at most—as a form of "cosplay"; her current persona is that of a "Chud E-Girl/Mommy."
