About Gabriela Fundora
Gabriela Diana Fundora is an American professional boxer. At 22 years old, she became the youngest undisputed world champion in boxing history, male or female, during the four-belt era.
Fundora began boxing at the age of six. In 2011, she and her family relocated to California's Coachella Valley for a larger, more competitive boxing talent pool and better training opportunities.
As an amateur, Fundora was the nation's top-ranked junior boxer in the 119-pound division. In 2017, she won the Junior National Championships and was named Boxer of the Tournament. That year she also won titles at the Junior Open and the USA Boxing Eastern and Western Olympic Qualifying Tournaments, and was named USA Boxing Junior Female Boxer of the Year. In 2018, she won the National Junior Olympics.
Fundora turned professional in 2021. With a record of 12-0 and 1 no contest, she defeated Arely Muciño on October 21, 2023, in Inglewood, California, to win the IBF flyweight title. On November 2, 2024, in Las Vegas, she faced Gabriela Celeste Alaniz for the undisputed flyweight title and won by seventh-round TKO.
Fundora is of Cuban and Mexican descent. Her brother is middleweight boxer Sebastian Fundora.
