About Farung Chariruk
Farung Chariruk (also spelled Farung Chareerak) was a prominent Thai top model and beauty queen in the 1990s. She was born on June 16, 1974, in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand, and achieved widespread recognition for her work in the fashion industry before her life was tragically cut short.
Miss Thailand USA (1991): She began her pageantry career abroad, capturing the title of 1st runner-up. Miss Thailand (1992): After returning to her homeland, she competed in the prestigious national Miss Thailand competition, finishing as the 3rd runner-up.
Modeling Success: Known for her striking exotic looks and tall stature, she became a highly sought-after top model in Bangkok, frequently gracing high-fashion runways and the covers of leading glossy magazines.
Death and Legacy. On August 24, 2000, at the age of 26, Farung was found dead from a gunshot wound in her Bangkok apartment. Her untimely death shocked the Thai entertainment industry and has since been the subject of numerous true-crime retrospectives, often linked in media discussions to complex crime narratives involving drugs and local mafia elements.
