About Fairouz Ai
Fairouz Ai Kadota is a prominent Japanese-Egyptian voice actress and singer who has quickly become one of the most recognizable voices in the anime industry. Born in Tokyo to a Japanese mother and an Egyptian father, she spent a portion of her childhood in Cairo, making her trilingual in Japanese, Arabic, and English.
Her path to stardom was unconventional. Despite a lifelong passion for manga—specifically JoJo's Bizarre Adventure—she initially studied graphic design and worked as a dental assistant for a year to save money for voice acting school. She made her major debut in 2019 as Hibiki Sakura in How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?, a role that perfectly showcased her high energy and interest in fitness.
