About Emma Paton

Emma-Louise is a London, UK-based sports presenter. She was born in London, but spent part of her youth in Singapore before the family settled in the Surrey area, where she attended Reigate College. A talented athlete from a young age, she specialised in the 400 metres (with a personal best of 55.87 seconds) and also competed in the 200 metres. She trained at a high national level while studying Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University.Injuries ultimately ended her hopes of Olympic representation.
After completing a Master’s in Sports Journalism at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, and an internship with the British Olympic Association during the 2012 London Games, she joined Sky Sports in 2012 as an online journalist. She progressed through production roles before moving on-screen as a presenter around 2019.
Emma has covered a wide range of sports, including Sky Sports News, football transfer windows, the US Open tennis, WWE, and NFL, but she is best known as the lead presenter for Sky Sports’ darts coverage—often called the “Queen of Ally Pally”—fronting events such as the World Darts Championship and Premier League Darts since taking a prominent role around 2020–2022.
