Elodie (born 1990 in Rome, Italy) is an Italian singer and performer. Her father is italian while her mother is caribbean.

She grew up in Quartaccio, a suburb on the outskirts of Rome, where she spent her adolescence. After early experiences performing with local bands, she rose to national prominence in 2015 by participating in the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi, which marked the beginning of her professional music career.

Since then, Elodie has achieved significant commercial success, selling over 850,000 copies across singles and albums, with her music accumulating more than 600 million streams. In 2020, she became the most-streamed female artist on Spotify Italy and ranked among the most viewed artists on VEVO’s music video charts.

That same year, she competed in the 70th edition of the Sanremo Music Festival with the song Andromeda. Shortly before the festival, she released the album This Is Elodie, which achieved gold certification and became the best-selling album by a female artist in Italy in 2020. In December, a special edition titled This Is Elodie x Christmas was released on vinyl, featuring hit tracks such as Guaranà, Andromeda, Margarita, and Pensare male, many of which received platinum and multi-platinum certifications and ranked among the most-played songs on Italian radio.

Elodie is regarded as one of the most prominent figures in contemporary Italian pop music.
