About Ella Balinska
Ella Balinska is a British actress born on October 4, 1996, in London, England. She trained at the Guildford School of Acting and developed a reputation for taking on physically demanding, action-oriented roles. She rose to international prominence playing Jane Kano in Charlie’s Angels (2019), alongside Kristen Stewart and Naomi Scott. Balinska went on to star in the horror thriller Run Sweetheart Run (2020) and played Jade Wesker in Netflix’s Resident Evil (2022). She also voiced Frey Holland, the lead character in the PlayStation 5 video game Forspoken (2023).
Beyond acting, Balinska has a background in athletics, having competed nationally in javelin and played county-level netball. She also trained extensively in stage combat, learning to use a variety of weapons, which has complemented her work in action films and television. She is the daughter of British chef and television personality Lorraine Pascale and businessman Kaz Balinski.
