About Elisabeth Sladen
Elisabeth Sladen was a British actress who was most famous for her portrayal of one of the companions on the long-running BBC science fiction television series, “Doctor Who”. She originally played the character Sarah Jane Smith, from 1973 to 1976 and later reprised that role in two other series, “K-9 and Company” (1981) and “The Sarah Jane Adventures” (2007 to 2011).
Sarah also had roles in the television shows, “Take My Wife” and “Coronation Street”.
Elisabeth died from pancreatic cancer, in 2011.
