About Diana Scapolan
Diana won the Italian selection of @missuniverse in 1974. She had already been a finalist of Miss Italy in 1970 and had won the title of Miss Europe in 1973.
For this reason, there were high expectations for the international final. Unfortunately, this time too, Italy didn't even make the top 15.
Upon her return home, the doors to film and television opened for her. She was one of the most famous TV showgirls of the 1970s.
