About Diana Kandelis
Diana is an Israeli professional dancer. She has a background in competitive dance, including Latin and other styles (listed as Daiana Kandelis in World DanceSport Federation records as a youth competitor for Israel).
She gained prominence as a contestant on the Israeli reality TV show רוקדים עם כוכבים (the local version of Dancing with the Stars), where she is a professional dancer/mentor paired with Olympic judoka Peter (Piter) Paltchik. At around 18 years old, she was noted as one of the youngest dancers to participate in the show.
She represents a rising generation of Israeli dancers blending competition experience with TV performance. Public attention around her has included both support for her performances and some online backlash (which she has addressed regarding age and personal comments).
