About Deborah Ann Woll
Deborah was born in 1985, in Brooklyn, New York, from Irish and German heritage. She took acting, piano and dance classes. She went to high school at Packer Collegiate Institute and graduated from the BFA program at the USC School of Theatre at the University of Southern California.
Deborah started to work as an actress on television and her breakout was in the highly-acclaimed HBO vampire drama, True Blood (2008), as a young and fierce vampire girl, "Jessica Hamby". From that moment, she gained roles in such films as Mother's Day (2010), Seven Days in Utopia (2011), Someday This Pain Will Be Useful to You (2011), Catch .44 (2011), opposite Bruce Willis and Forest Whitaker, and Ruby Sparks (2012). Woll's boyfriend, Edward E.J. Scott, is a comedian and his family are afflicted with choroideremia, which is a condition that slowly blinds its victim. She uses her celebrity status to help advocate for them and others with the disease. She has been quoted as saying that her boyfriend's bravery in fighting his disability has inspired her own battle with Celiac disease, which makes her body intolerant to foods containing gluten.
Deborah is an avid Dungeons & Dragons player. She graduated in 2007 from the University of Southern California School of Theatre with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting. She had 10 years' experience in theater before getting her television role in True Blood (2008).
As of February 2026, she has amassed 1.3 million followers on her Instagram platform.
She is known for playing Karen Page in Marvel's Daredevil & as Jessica Hamby in True Blood.
She has naturally Strawberry Blonde hair and frequently goes between red and blonde hair depending on her roles.

I don’t care what anyone says; she should easily be in the top 25 on this site. She’s hot as hell and way too underrated. The fact that she's under a 9 is criminal.

Hot take: I'm excited for GOW Laufey. She's in ther 40s and is playing the mom of a 13 year old kid. I'd prefer her to look better, but she isn't ugly in the game either, just milfy with toughness.

To this day, I still cannot believe she never revealed that incredible rack of hers on True Blood. She was already the hottest one on the cast, and on top of that? Arguably the best boobs on the whole show. Absolute fumble.

What’s even funnier is that she showed more in the first Daredevil episode than she ever did in True Blood. Daredevil not only gave us a solid sideboob moment, but another where you could basically make out the whole shape of her breast. Meanwhile, True Blood...of all shows, somehow never even gave her a single real sideboob scene, which is honestly wild to me.

Source? I’ve never seen her say that. She’s said she’s “pretty much game” for nude scenes, but also that she’s careful with film nudity because it can be taken out of context. It's strange logic when you think about it because she acts like she's alright with nudity, yet all she does is cover up.

it was in an iterveiw i saw a few years back i cant recall which since its been awhile it was on youtube so you might be able to find it... it was a snipit you have to pay attetin she was feilding alot of ?'s at the time and its easy to miss

I just don’t buy that she was truly against it, because it wasn’t even a full nude scene. Yeah, you can make out the shape of her breast, but the nipple was covered, and there’s no way she didn’t understand exactly what the shot was showing.
The bigger problem is that the “source” is basically unusable as-is. “Snippets” and vague Q&A answers don’t tell you anything concrete, so tracking it down becomes a guessing game. Was this said in a Daredevil press interview? A Comic-Con panel? Some random red carpet clip? Without a specific outlet, date, or at least the event name, it’s like trying to find a single drop of water in the ocean.
