Daniella is a Vancouver, BC-based reporter, host, street interviewer, and content creator known as “Vancouver’s News Reporter.” She gained popularity through viral street interviews (such as her “What do you do for a living?” series) on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, while also working in sports and entertainment reporting.
She was born in the UK and was raised in a military family, which involved frequent moves between cities, and she eventually immigrated to Canada. She grew up in Kanata, Ontario, where she was active in drama and acting. She graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Media and Performance Production. During university, she studied abroad for a semester at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. She began street reporting and campus journalism there, interviewing students and covering events.
Daniella moved to Vancouver, where she launched her professional career. She initially worked with the Market Herald conducting CEO interviews in the mining sector. She has built a freelance career as a sports, entertainment, and street reporter.
She is a Vancouver Correspondent for TSN (The Sports Network) and has worked on digital content for SportsCentre. Her independent content, often featuring candid street interviews, took off around 2022–2023, leading her to go full-time as a creator by January 2023. She also writes and engages in screenwriting/producing interests.
Daniella lives in Vancouver and describes herself as independent, noting she does not have family in North America to rely on. She is known for her outgoing, “delightfully nosy” personality and has spoken about personal growth, including identity after weight loss and building self-confidence through her career.
