She ended up defeated by Sheila Mello in the contest “The New Blonde of Tchan,” aired on “Domingão do Faustão" in 1998.
She even danced in the axé group Companhia do Pagode, in addition to hosting television programs.
In August 2003, Daniela Freitas was hired by SBT to report for "Falando Francamente," hosted by Sônia Abrão.
Shortly after, already graduated in journalism, she became a sports commentator for Jornal do SBT 1ª Edição. She left SBT in August 2005. At the end of the same year, she signed with TV Corinthians, on Channel 21, for a program about Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, the presenter’s favorite football team, where she had a brief stint. Around mid-2006, Daniela was hired by Rede TV! as a reporter for the program "Amaury Jr."
Alongside Milton Neves, she also worked on "Supertécnico," on Rede Bandeirantes de Televisão, and on "Debate Bola," on Rede Record. She also posed nude for men's magazines Playboy (Feb, 1999), Sexy (Nov, 2001) and VIP (Apr, 2008).
She was married to actor Alexandre Frota from 2000 to 2003.
However, she made a choice that surprised many: she decided to step away from her artistic career to focus on studying Law with 32 y-old. Living in São Paulo, Daniela Freitas invested in her studies even after becoming a mother of two children (2009 & 2013) from her relationship with the advertising professional and pilot Pedro Queirolo, from whom she is separated. She graduated in 2018.
