About Dakota Tucker
Dakota Tucker is a South African swimmer and 2027 Princeton University engineering student known for her excellence in individual medley and breaststroke, including representing South Africa at the 2022 World Short Course Championships. A former Waterborn Swim Club member, she joined the Princeton Tigers in 2023, becoming a CSCAA All-American.
Represented South Africa at the 2022 FINA World Short Course Championships in Melbourne and the 2019 African Junior Championships.
As of 2026, she is a key member of the Princeton Women's Swimming and Diving team. In the 2024-25 season, she was a NCAA Division I Second Team All-American, placed 30th in the 400 IM at the NCAA Championships, and won the 200 IM, 400 IM, and 200 breaststroke at the 2025 Ivy League Championships.
